Watched Bristal this weekend! She’s so adorable.

I’m thinking of Cali for vacation in August? Hrm.

We spent last weekend in Idaho again, house sitting and watching the dogs, two boxers.  Mika and Cashus. It was nice and relaxing. We also spent some time with my sister, her husband, and my nephew. They are a blast to be around.

Stephen started working at the place I do in the Telecom Department. He seems to be liking it quite a bit.  Things are slowly coming together. I’m excited to start building up our savings accounts so we can go traveling! AGH!

We both want a St. Bernard dog so BAD! There’s no way we can in our present situation. With the apartment (no animals plus the limited size). We’ll just slowly start obtaining our goals. We will know we have hit a mile stone when we get to have our pup.. that won’t be very small for very long.

We’re going to Dallas in May. It’s little Arden’s b-day and I’m so excited to meet Steveo’s family, well officially of course.  We’re also planning on going to Seattle here soon to chill out. Just to get out and about.

We did a little re-arranging of the studio. We found a rocking vintage red love-seat. Put up a cool divider to separate the bed from the living space. I’ll post more pictures soon.

Stephen had his interview today, he seems to feel pretty good about it.  I’m excited for him, I think he’s looking forward to working a “9 to 5″ again.

Things are going very well with us. Very comfortable and I love how easy it is to communicate.  We’re planning on both being in this for the long run.  I love having him around.

Work is going well, as far as keeping up with the work load.  Eh.. maybe not so much, but I do what I can do.

Current short term goals and to-do list.

-Obtain a futon as listed below
-Obtain another vehicle
-Obtain additional funds in savings account ($1.24 balance just isn’t working for me right now)
-Pay off a couple small student loans.

Well, just a quick update.  I seem to be spending most of my time off work with Steve-O.  We went ice skating the other day. Had a complete blast. Is there anything this guy isn’t good at?

I’ve been trying to work out more regularly, but it’s hard to get all parties motivated. It will happen tonight for sure. I may have to go alone. I feel like I need a nap right now though.

I have a couple in mind:

They are simple, yet look very classic and don’t put out the ghetto-futon vibe that I’m trying so desperately not to achieve.

Tomorrow: Renew license (actually get my Washington license after all this time). I’ve been working late so I can go during work to get my new license. According to Kim, the gal I work next to, she waited over 3 hours last time she had to renew her license. I have a plan though. I shall get there 20 minutes before they open the door and wait in line. I’ll let you know how it turns out.

Stephen will be here on Wednesday. Should I be a bit nervous? A bit anxious? — Well I am. I know this will work out well, it’s just a big change for the both of us. I think I’m worried most of all for his sake. I don’t want him to be stuck somewhere he doesn’t like. I don’t think we will have a problem though because I trust he will tell me his feelings and I’m really not opposed to going somewhere else. Honestly, I really don’t have too much holding me here in Spokane. He would like us to stay here for at least a little while. A year or two?

I guess, it’s just a big change – for the both of us. The reality will set in a few days later. This will be good. We are good at communicating with each other and it is easy to be in the company of each other. We’ll make this work.

Next thing I know, we’ll be embracing each other, going forward and never looking back.

He’s the one I’ve been waiting for all of these years. 29 and the one in my dreams has finally become a reality. This just happens a bit sooner for some and a bit later for others.

Today I’ve been concentrating on a shopping list and coming up with different meal plans. I guess my dad was right. I will make someone a good wife some day. I’m such an odd duck. Work on the car. Work on the computer. Work in the kitchen. Work on the laundry. Work on the house. –and I enjoy all of it.

Anyhow, just random ramblings. Not much for organized thoughts for today.

For some reason I had no idea that there was a solar eclipse this month in Europe.

As far as the new years resolution project, wow. I’ve fallen way behind. I guess it’s been a really busy month. I’ll update sometime soon, I promise.

Stephen arrives on Wednesday January 20th. Just a day shy of my birthday. WOOOH!
